Peridot

This lucky 13th bottle of Chanel nail varnish was recently added to my borderline obsessive collection. Who wouldn't want fingers that rival 'lil Wayne's grill? Stunners.

Miluji tě, Barbie!

Overcome with nostalgia this past weekend due to a spontaneous trip to the Barbie Museum in PRAGUE. The Czech fashion I saw all weekend long was horrrrrrrrrrendous...so this made up for it. Below is the closest Prague will ever get to hosting a Fashion Week:

*yup...that's Twiggy.

Springtime Totes

One of these adorable / functional / bright bags from Swedish Hasbeens sure would help break up my frequent all-black ensembles. Crossing my fingers that the Easter Bunny will hide these all over my flat in a few weeks.

WARMTH.

In preparation for my Winter trip to Stockholm. Over-the-top handmade knits are on the brain. These ones from Londoner Louise Dungate are cozier than lil Stel's fur coat.

H Fredriksson.

Swedish designer Helena Fredriksson is brilliant. Based out of Brooklyn, (I swear, another coincidence. I don't just love things from Brooklyn) her aesthetic is modern, artistic, and juxtaposed by loose yet structured pieces. Her clothes are timeless. She seems to be strategic with her use of color, which is refreshingly minimal. I am a fan.

EABURNS // creative exploration

Discovered some new talent for the jewelry industry today at Broadway Market! I was instantly smitten with her "slimming" designs of long chains accompanied by faceted trianglular pendants (or daggers? arrowheads?). All different sizes and textures -- leather, velvet, metallic, printed cotton and much more. The perfect sophisticated piece to layer or wear alone and proud. I could not leave with just one...so I bought three. Thank you Lizzie. We will meet again soon.

*She's also a WICKED artist. Pictured above...

The Brightest side of Black

I would wash my face with greasy McDonald's wrappers in order to have a shopping spree at Acne. Had the pleasure of stopping into the brand new store on Dover St. (Mayfair) today. 4 floors high, and full of mouth-watering style. They really make you hike up to the top floor for the best part: shoes & accessories. I would stomp all over town in these skyscraping wedges. Obsessed.

KATE!!!

Took a sweet lil trip to Topshop earlier this week...come to find out that Ms. Kate Moss would be debuting her final mainline collection in the UK on Oxford St. that very night, complete with a guest appearance. To describe the scene as mayhem would be an understatement. I waited in a queue 1000+ people long, but yours truly was approximately #200. I even got a free Kate poster which I gave as a housewarming present later that evening. The collection was true Kate: boho chic, lots of fringe, fur, embroidery, maxi silhouettes. Western girl at heart, I love my fringe...left with this bad boy, happy as can be!
